What is Tales of Symphonia Remastered?
Tales of Symphonia Remastered is an enhanced version of this GameCube title to be released for most major consoles. It is different from Tales of Symphonia HD, which was released on PS3 and Steam. Bandai Namco has yet to announce what changes to expect for this remaster.
However, since Tales of Vesperia also released its own remaster (called the “Definitive Edition”), it’s safe to hope that we’ll at least get improved graphics, cleaner gameplayY fully voiced lines. These have also been exhibited at the September 2022 Nintendo Direct.
Other confirmed improvements include:
- smoother sea motion
- One button to skip scenes
- An updated save screen

There are also new party members, new bosses, new art, and additional music tracks, among others. But then again, none of these have been officially confirmed, so it’s best to wait for the official announcement.

The game can be pre-ordered at most major retailers and on the official Bandai Namco site. there will be a chosen edition available, which will include the base game, a metal case, some art prints and stickers.
