One of the first missions players are given in LEGO Fortnite includes locating rebel outposts in the desert. This can be done with the help of the macrobinoculars provided by Captain Bravara. Here’s how you can do it quickly.
How to get Macrobinoculars and how to use them in LEGO Fortnite
Once you’ve appeared in the world of your choice, LEGO Fortnite will give you the freedom to create and build your own camp. By lighting a campfire as you normally would, you will be able to see Captain Brave wandering around the area.
After a brief introduction, it will give you the context of what is happening in the game. Immediately after this, you will acquire macrobinoculars which will go directly into your inventory. Keep in mind that you have to drag and drop The macrobinoculars from your inventory in your quick slot.
By doing so, the macrobinoculars will be available for use and all you need to do is press and hold the button use key to see through them. This is when you will see the Rebel Alliance logo. Start running in this direction, ignoring any terrain or wildlife that gets in your way.
Locate the rebel base and explore it
Now that you have located the hideout, feel free to explore this area and continue with the mission. It’s important to note that all your progress will be saved even if you leave the game and pick it up later. The next line of quests can lead you to more challenging scenarios, such as unlocking a bunker that will lead to obtaining a lightsaber.

If you lose your macrobinoculours (like I did!) due to deadly wildlife or starvation, there is a quick fix. Simply restart the game or charge into a new world to find them again. Doing so may lead to another introductory conversation with Captain Bravada, but it’s worth it.
