Lies of P is arriving soon, and it looks great, causing many to question what engine the game is running on. The game has been developed by NEOWIZ and will bring a unique take on the tale of Pinnochio.
Pinocchio, in the original Italian books, was about a puppet brought to life with a desire to live life as a normal boy. He also couldn’t tell a lie without his nose growing – and lying will play a role in Lies of P, impacting events and the story’s endings.
Here is all you need to know about what engine Lies of P will be running on when it releases soon.
What engine does Lies of P run on?
Lies of P will be running on Unreal Engine 4. This may come as a surprise to some considering Unreal Engine 5 has already arrived. Games like the recently released Remnant 2 and the upcoming Lords of the Fallen are already using the engine from Epic Games.
It is still unknown if Lies of P will move over to Unreal Engine 5 at a later date, but it seems incredibly unlikely at this point. Unreal Engine 5 is the engine developed by Epic Games and first released in April 2022, as a step-up from the engine Lies of P is using, Unreal Engine 4.
