    To keep Warzone 2 To make the ranking as fair as possible, the devs limit certain weapons and attachments to those that are considered too strong.

    Currently, these restrictions include KV broadside shotguns, dragon breath ammunition, right shields, and of course explosive ammunition for snipers.

    After the Season 4 Reloaded patch, more guns have been added. Warzone 2 Hierarchical restriction list. The two new banned weapons since the update are ridiculously strong, with the ability to fire them akimbo making them both unstoppable up close.

    X13 Auto & Basilisk are banned from Warzone 2 ratings.

    Taking to Twitter on July 18, Treyarch Studios announced that X13 Auto And Basilisk was banned from Warzone 2 Classification.

    The devs assured players that the decision was made with the aim of providing “competitive and fair matches”. Not only that, these restrictions are “updated based on data and feedback”, there’s always the possibility that guns could return to ranked in the future.

    X13 Auto and Basilisk have completely taken over the close range meta since the Season 4 Reloaded update. According to WZ Rankedthe X13 Auto has a surprising. 20.7% Pick rate, while the basilisk sits around. 9.2%.

    As a result, akimbo loadouts for both of these secondaries are dominating the meta, and the devs have clearly identified that they are too strong to rank. While we can expect a nerf for these weapons very soon, the restrictions mean that ranking will be more competitive and fair in the meantime.
