Pokemon TCG released the final series set of the Sword & Shield era in November 2022. The expansion, the Sword & Shield Silver Tempest, was announced on September 9th, 2022. This is the twelveth set under the Crossword banner, and the Japanese set includes a CANDescent Arcana and Paradigm Trigger, and the trainer Gallery subset of its CART Gallery is capable of learningVMAX Climax from the Japanese swag. Sword & Shield Silver Tempestalso continues the Character Collection as well as the Training Gallery, a special subset of Rares, Super Rares, Full Art Trainers and Black & Gold VMAXes that began in the first sets of the year, Sword & Shield Brilliant Stars. This is a underrated card right here. Currently, the Full Art Alolan Vulpix V is worth just over $10. If this had come out earlier in the Second-War, before that era of the Sword and Deaths became all the rage, then this would have been much higher up there in value compared to where it is now. I’m not complaining, but because I like to see such beautiful chase cards becoming accessible. This is extremely beautiful with the 5ban Graphic’s depiction of Alolan Vulpix vibing so beautifully with the silver foil line art used on the card. The blue, green, and the touch of rainbow towards the bottom also give a bit of a contrast to the holofoil glow, as it is something you need to hold a textured card to see in the person. Lucky for me, I was lucky enough to pull an Alolan Vulpix V Full Art box in my latest booster box.
