gave Overwatch The league has announced that the playoffs and grand finals are moving to Toronto at the Mattamy Athletic Center for its sixth season.
The playoffs will begin on September 28 and run until the 30th, culminating in the Grand Final on October 1.
General admission tickets go on sale on July 28, with priority tickets such as VIP and floor tickets going on sale a week earlier on the 21st.
A grand prize of $1,000,000 USD is up for grabs for the contestants. Moreover, the league also announced a competitive format.

After the conclusion of the North American and APAC play-in tournaments, five teams from the West and three teams from the East will qualify for the playoffs.
This year, the Overwatch League opted for a different playoff format, splitting the eight teams into two separate groups.
The top two teams in these groups will be determined by double-elimination bracket play from September 28 to 30. The top two teams from each group will then be drawn into a single-elimination bracket.
With the remaining four teams, both the respective semi-finals and the grand final will be played on October 1.
Teams in the West will be able to qualify for the playoffs through their regular season records as well as a last-chance option through a play-in tournament shortly before the playoffs.

For APAC, qualifying stage records are not relevant for playoff qualification with only knockout stage performance counting towards capturing one of the most coveted playoff spots. A play-in event in the East will also provide the last chance to secure a spot for the season playoffs.
