Good reader and welcome to SwitchArcade Round-Up for December 21st and 2022. Yesterday was a bit rich, but today is quiet like most Wednesdays. Probably busier today than Tuesday average, just to speak. Five new releases to check out, and some new sales. My day job is very busy today, so that’s really all there is to it. Sometimes, a quiet day isn’t so bad, of course. Let’s get to that.
New Releases
The Punchuin ($14,99)
The 2D action-adventure game is a penguin punching. Punchuin is you see. Explore the mountain, build penguins, and discover all kinds of treasure. You can play alone or pull in a friend for a bit of local co-op fun.
The Captain (19,99 $)
Here is the bad news: malevolent forces are on their way to Earth, to destroy it. The good news is that you have precisely what you need to stop their machinations. The worst thing is that you’ve lost too much resources in the opposite side of the galaxy. If you don’t have time to return to Earth, then it’s the end. How you do that is going to your. You’ll have many choices to make in this oddball hybrid of adventure game, turn-based strategy, and resource management. This game is well-liked on other platforms and I have little doubt that it will find a following on the Switch.
Headbangers in the Holidays Hell ($5.99)
Youre a heavy metal-loving weirdo who lost his appearance in Santas naughty list and instead of ignoring you, has sent his men to teach you a lesson for him. This shooter is top-down roguelite with an elaborate theme in a Christmas/heavy metal theme, which I didn’t see on the eshop before. It is one of the usual rules with weapons, procedurally generated levels and many enemies to explode. Perhaps a different type of holiday game, if nothing else.
Package Inc ($4.99).
With an interactive and interactive approach, Package Inc plans to give you an integrated solution for an expanding city. With a dedicated approach to connecting both the stations and the airport, you can build a delivery system for a city a little easier. It recalls me vaguely of games like the Mini Metro, and it’s not that bad thing. It’s also very interesting. Are we all for 5? Very good. Pretty, very good. That platform can also be used on mobile if you want to save a few dollars or use the sandstone for your puzzle-sim needs.
Heavens Door (3,99 dollars)
Cooking & Publishing, famous collectors of trash games, have another bag of refuse that could be put into the eShop drawer. This is the exact same template that they use the first time. When you have to answer a series of questions, then repeat your answer without making a mistake. That time, the framing is that you are at the gates of heaven and are judged by an ugly butt clip art angel.
