What Chronicles of a New Era quests came in patch 6.2?
The Chronicles of a New Era questline is aimed at players looking for more challenging multiplayer raid style content. They are essentially side quests, so you don’t need to complete them to continue with the main story. Patch 6.2 introduced pandaemoniuma 13 part mission which starts in Old Sharlayan with the quest The crystal from beyond (Received from Nemjiji at Archon’s Design). You will need to be a level 90 Disciple of War or Magic to start the quests.

Quests are only unlocked once you’ve completed the main story extension that also came with patch 6.2, a series of nine quests that begins with In search of Azdaja and concludes with buried memory. Ten of Pandaemonium’s 13 quests reward players with Materia IX. But more importantly, you will unlock access to the challenging raid dungeon. Pandemonium Abyssos.
