It is not surprising that Steam is pretty much synonymous with PC gaming, it continues to see impressive numbers in terms of interaction and user use. By comparison, Valves platform has already entered the new year in a strong position and hit a series of impressive milestones.

As reported on Twitter earlier today, Steam hit 10 million concurrent players in the game, achieving a peak of 10 284,8, despite the date when the platform reached those numbers. Nonetheless, according to the official Steam charts, it also reached its highest ever compliant users count today. This brings a total of 33 million users, surpassing the 30 million in October reported.

All the games which were released to the time of writing are, but rather, the usual suspects; those include:Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, Lost Ark, PuBG: Battlegrounds and Modern Warfare 2.

Steam has been reaching 10 million concurrent in-game players for the first time, and 32 million concurrently online users today. http://t.co/d6WDHbz0B4 pic.twitter.com/rbRabLye.
