From poor character creation, weird bugs, or general palatableness, some of the characters in The Sims 4 are just plain rags. Whether you’re looking to create a new kind of challenge or wondering which sims to avoid, we’ve put together a list of the worst of the worst in the Sims 4 universe.
The worst characters in The Sims 4
eliza pancakes
Finally, Eliza Pancakes comes first at something. She might have the materialistic trait, but you wouldn’t be able to tell based on her terrible fashion sense and her preferred decor. Even though she spends most of her time complaining to anyone who’s willing to listen, you can’t help but feel a little sorry for her because she has to spend her days married to Bob Pancakes.

This man has it all if you consider a brooding, people-hating bum a trap. Considered the “world’s least interesting sim”, Bob Pancakes wouldn’t even try to fight you. His strongest fighting trait is that he is so boring that you wouldn’t want to be in the same room with him, in case he tried to talk to you.
Don Lothario, but specifically in The Sims 4
In previous iterations of The Sims, Don Lothario’s flirtations between the entire Caliente family and Cassandra Goth made him famous from Strangetown to Veronaville. In The Sims 4, however, Don Lothario has changed. This is because instead of trying to seduce Nina and Dina, he lives with them as his stepfather. However, he’s still a serial romantic, which makes the vibes even stranger. No matter how you look at the situation, it’s creepy.

Wolfgang Munch
Wolfgang Munch thinks he’s a cool bad boy, but it’s easy enough to see that he’s hiding behind a mask of false bravado. This isn’t unusual for teenagers, especially when you come from a family like the Munchs, but Wolfgang Munch doesn’t get past this phase. He’s still a bully when he becomes an adult, and as we all know, sims who don’t experience character growth deserve a beating. At least he thinks he’s good at chess.
nancy landgraab
Honestly, the entire Landgraab family sucks. In addition to essentially owning the entire world and turning off their sim’s access to electricity on a whim, the Landgraab are especially ruthless regarding their own family image. No one in the Landgraab family recognizes Johnny Zest because he was disowned when he dropped out of school to become an artist. Even though he lives near them, they all pretend that he just doesn’t exist.
Nancy Landgraab is a little more terrible than everyone else because she has a terrible habit of showing up on every community lot in her hideous velor tracksuits, judging everyone who dares come within her sight.

knox greenburg
This is one of the more controversial options, but he’s so conceited about wanting to save the environment that it’s almost impossible to befriend him. If you manage to get into an awkward relationship, he’ll start showing up under the guise of having gifts (he doesn’t) and then ask to hang out (but he won’t talk to you).
eric lewis
Materialistic, self-assured and gluttonous, Eric Lewis is one charismatic point away from starting his own Simlish version of a Ponzi scheme. Even though he’s not one of the worst characters on this list, Eric Lewis gives off great “has a secret online personality” vibes.
Gothic Mortimer
This man canonically murdered his wife, and anyone who dares to approach Bella Goth with malicious intent can never be forgiven. The Sims 4 may be in a different timeline than the other iterations of the sims, but from time to time, he’ll look at Bella, and you can catch a glint in her eye that’s more murderous than loving. Don’t trust him.
Count Vladislaus Straud IV
He may be a vampire, but that doesn’t mean he has to show up and scare everyone the second night of every game. While his fashion style is impeccable, his bad manners and blatant disregard for the first rule of vampire society (you must first be invited in before draining a sim’s blood) means Vlad must be eliminated.
kado akiyama
Kado has the audacity to be married to someone as utterly stunning as Jenna Akiyama and then turn around and punch literally anything that moves. It’s rare that you play the Sims and not notice that this man is trying to date his wife, either by flirting with your Sim or someone else in the vicinity.
Finally, Darren McMillian and Ian Moody are included as honorable mentions only because they’re utterly perfect, and it’s downright evil for them to die of old age so early in any game.
