PS5 sold over 30 Million units globally

    Sony announced the PlayStation 5 sold over 30 million units worldwide. Since the 30th of September the 25 million units were shipped at the last major milestone announced for the console. According to CES 2023, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan revealed last month was the biggest ever sales of PS5 games.

    It’s only starting, though, the console maker is likely to be aiming for 30 million sales for the fiscal year 2023 (from January of April 1st 2023 to March 31st 2024). On the other hand, a new model has a detachable disk drive. Sony hasn’t yet confirmed any of these yet.

    Meanwhile, its PSVR2 will launch on February 22nd for 549.99 with over 30 titles. It also announced the project Leonardo, a accessibility controller for the PS5 that offers customized controls for players who are handicapped. Watch out for news and updates from CES 2023.
