The upcoming game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will come with some online functionality, according to a new announcement. There is no official information, but this Nintendo Switch title will undoubtedly come with certain online functionality.
Thanks to sligeach_eire Reddit user who provided the image apparently from a Dutch gaming magazine, now we know more. The ad says “get more from Nintendo Switch” next to the ONLINE label. This can mean several things, it is a simple save system in the cloud or it is the announcement of the possibility of several players.

The image also shows that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be played connected to the television, in a desktop version, and portable (the Switch itself). The game will be available on day one on Nintendo eShop. An upcoming Nintendo Switch game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, is expected to be available on May 12, 2023.
