S Level
- Hurry: Haste is the best skill in Murder Mystery 2. This crazy power increases the movement speed of murderers by 10%, allowing them to outrun innocents even when they have a knife in their hand. I recommend using this skill if you intend to dominate high-level lobbies in MM2.
Level A
- Bone scan: X-rays allow assassins to see through walls and any rigid infrastructure for 4 seconds. It is a useful skill as you can strategically reposition yourself in a better position and surprise your opponents as they move in your direction/territory.
- pique: Users who activate Sprint gain 50% movement speed for 3 seconds. Although it looks like a degraded version of Haste, it helps catch innocents who play alone and move around a lot.
B-Level
- ninja: Ninja is the best skill in the game for beginner players as it allows users to eliminate anyone without making any footsteps. You can use this ability to eliminate aggressive players in an open location without alerting others on the server.
- Traps: Players who use this ability can place three sets of traps anywhere in the game. Once caught, they will remain frozen for the next four seconds. Then, discover the areas of highest player movement on the map and tactically use these traps to see the players. It is like a blessing in disguise for passive players who love to play slowly.
C-Level
- fake gun: As the name suggests, the skill allows users to equip a dummy pistol instead of their knife for 10 seconds. It’s great for fooling other beginner level players, but advanced players can easily see your trick. I recommend using the skill on low level beginner lobbies.
- Ghost– Ghost allows users to become invisible for 5 seconds. Although it is a powerful skill, the 5 second timer period is very low and it requires a lot of effort to execute a kill using the skill. Still, it can be effective in the hands of passive assassins who camp a lot.
- Tricks: Sleight is a power in MM2 that allows users to throw a knife while moving and regenerate it. While it may sound good on paper, it’s incredibly challenging to aim and throw a deadly knife while running, making it a power only for veteran players in select situations like running in a group.
Level D
- Steps: The Footstep allows assassins to follow the steps and direction of players in the game. It is a very weak ability as the track disappears quickly and it is a challenge to match the speed with the default movement speed. Avoid this ability and choose something like Ghost or C-tier Fake Gun instead.
