Respected director Mike Hodges died at 90.
Mike Kaplan, a longtime friend of Hodges and producer of Ill Sleep When Im Dead, announced that the directors were coming on December 20, 2022.
Hodges was best known for his acclaimed crime dramas, including Get Carter, Pulp, Croupier and the earlier mentioned Ill Sleep When I’m Dead. Hodges directed Flash Gordon in the 1980s, which featured a song written by Queen. Hodges also wrote and produced a number of projects over the years.
He survived by his wife, two sons and five grandchildren.
