Marvel Snaps Galactus may have not been in the game too long, but the giant planet-devouring icon is now proving a game breaker, with a lot of players either mad at being confronted or lovingly able to swoop with the villain in a purple helmet. In the Marvel Comics universe, you know how to do that, even when Galactus turns up.

However, the developer Second Dinner is known for the potential problems with Galactus, the studio’s lead Ben Brode tweeting that Galactus is on the watch list with the side eye emoji earlier this month.

Unless you don’t know, Galactus is one of the most unique cards in the Marvel Universe roster, with a skill unlike any other. A free player can leave a good friend. I have already seen multiple winning positions put to waste by the planet gobbler, and I don’t mind seeing as much as six blowouts.

There will be no change to Galactus effect yet, but after that, when Angela was recently changed due to her slightly overpowered performance, we know that Second Dinner is right for the necessary steps if it deems them fit. There’s also possibility that the developer introduces a degradable contraption to the game. Moreover, there’s the possibility that the destructive force would become a bit more redundant.

There you have it, all you need to know about Marvel’s Galactus and its high power levels. For more tips and tricks in the popular card game, please see our Marvel Snap deck guide and Marvel Snap tier list.
