Playside Studios has revealed Kill Knight, a new Hades-inspired isometric arcade shooter coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC this year. A press release for Kill Knight reads, “Once a loyal knight, betrayed, and exiled to the Abyss.” “A desecrated corpse within reanimated armor. You rise to eternal death. Branded Kill Knight, you have one goal – kill the last angel. Players exploit enemy weaknesses, inflict brutal punishments. To implement, and strategically manage, must learn to weave through the knight’s arsenal as resources as they dance with death in hubris and battle friends and foes all the way up the global leaderboard. ”

In Kill Night, players are challenged to overcome the demon within as they descend the voids of an ancient arena and wield a devastating arsenal of armor and weapons against hordes of otherworldly horrors. As you can see in the trailer above, Kill Knight features fast-paced and visceral top-down arcade action combat with an abominably terrifying otherworld to traverse. According to Playside Studios, there are five deadly layers, each more deadly than the last.

As you survive waves of enemies, your kill power will increase, which in turn increases your speed and damage. Plus, there are tons of challenges to unlock your knight arsenal and evolve your playstyle. In Master Mode, all five layers become one expanded arena, and you can also track your skills on a global leaderboard.
