In Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.3, one of the really wanted new items was Yakauku gear. A glamorous outfit set that gives you a fancy Yukata and a floral tattoo. Here’s how to unlock Yakaku gear in FFXIV.
How to get Yakaku gear in FFXIV
Yakaku’s Gear is a reward for helping complete Tataru’s Great Effort quests in patch 6.3. After accepting the mission in Old Sharlayan, Tataru’s fledgling clothing business sends you on a mission to Kugane, Othard, and eventually back to Sharlayan. Upon completing the mission an auspicious opportunity you will receive a Yakaku armor set as a reward. During this mission, you will meet the Four Lords, who were the antagonists of a series of tests in Stormblood.

The Yakaku armor is a five-piece set that includes a head piece, a body piece, two sets of legs, and boots. Each one is level one and has negligible stats, so they’re really just for glamour. Which is just fine because these are some of the sexiest-looking Far Eastern-inspired glam pieces we’ve ever gotten our hands on. Personally, from now on we will be using some of this gear in all our Samurai glamours!
