King Deshret’s Mausoleum lives in Genshin Impact’s Hypostyle Desert. It harbors many secrets, including a frustrating beam puzzle at the top of the building. To solve it, you have to get rid of the obstacles and race against the clock to move the cells to the correct positions. You will be rewarded with a luxury chest.
How to solve the beam puzzle on top of King Deshret’s mausoleum in Genshin Impact
Head to the top of King Deshret’s mausoleum from a path in Duat Hall, where you’ll find a large puzzle waiting. There are multiple beams, floating platforms, and objects you can interact with, but the solution is pretty simple.
Part 1: Remove Platforms
First, you need to remove four platforms, which are blocking the path of the rays. They are located in the four corners of the area and can be removed in any order. Please note that these are all still platforms Ignore the ones that move!
To remove the platforms, simply step on them and wait for them to disappear. There is no time limit for this, so you don’t have to rush.
Part 2: Rotate cell
After all four platforms have disappeared, interact with an hourglass to Flip that. This will create four-leaf seals that will lead you to the floating platforms in the middle of the clearing. It needs to be boosted to the bottom platform with all four lightning bolts and an unlocked cell in the center (pictured above). It is the one below the highest floating platform.

Part 3: Move cell
There are three mechanisms located in the north, east and south of the area. You need to interact with each mechanism to move cellthen jump down and flip the hourglass to generate four-leaf stamps. Use those four-leaf Sigils to head to the next mechanism, and repeat the process until all three cells have been moved.
this part is Limited time (but no timer), so you need to act as fast as possible. If you fail, don’t worry, you can try as many times as you need. We recommend doing it in this order: east > south > north. You have to use the four sheet stamps, or you won’t have enough time to move all the cells within the time limit. Don’t stop in the middle either.
Once this is done, quickly propel yourself to the highest floating platform in the center of the clearing using Four-Leaf Seals. Then interact with the mechanism on the edge (not the one in the center) to rotate cell twice. A blue bolt will connect with the obelisk, completing the puzzle. Don’t forget to claim the Deluxe Chest for your effort.
