Palia, the latest game to hop on the cozy MMO-lite craze is available now. It’s not fully released, so players on PC are going to go through some growing pains as it continues to expand. As it stands, there are two zones – Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay. Here’s how to get to the second zone.
How to find Bahari Bay in Palia
When you first start up Palia, you’ll get started in Kilima Valley. This is the first zone you’ll be doing anything in, and you’ll be spending a ton of time here. If you ever get bored of the surroundings, you can just head east out of the zone to find yourself in Bahari Bay. It doesn’t appear like there is anything holding you back from doing so right away like quests or anything, so give it a shot when you log on.

Traversal is a bit of a nightmare, however, as it’s very mountainous in the region. As Palia contineus to receive updates, you’ll be finding more to do in Bahari Bay, and you’ll also have some new regions to explore.
How often will zones be added in Palia?
While exploration of a new world is important, the Palia developers warn you to not expect a giant, sprawling world in this instance. On the official website, they say Palia is more about crafting and collection versus exploring.
“However, I think it’s important to temper expectations in this area since our world is not as large as a typical MMORPG or Open World game,” the website says. “As such, sometimes you’ll have to wait for the next zone drop to get that exploration hit in the game again. In general, the game is very resource focused in driving your core loop, but there is XP to be earned as well.”
That doesn’t mean we won’t have new places to explore as time goes on, but it does sound like it’s not going to happen as often as games like World of Warcraft or Final Fantasy XIV add new zones. For a crafting-centric MMO, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. However, it is something fans will have to keep in mind as they’re waiting for the next content drop.
