The map is one of the most sought after items in The Forest as it allows players to see where they are going and find essential locations. However, players are unable to access the map at the start of the game, leading to a lot of confusion and some getting lost in The Forest.
Where to get the Map in El Bosque
Players can find and obtain the map item by visiting the Second Cave location in The Forest. The best way to get to the Second Cave also called hanging cave either cave 2, is to find its main entrance in the Main Cannibal Village. To find the main cannibal village, we recommend heading to an open clearing and looking for a large mountain that is located to the north of the forest peninsula. We recommend turning around and heading southeast if you can see up the mountain to the location shown below.

To the southeast is where you can find the entrance to the second Cave. Inside the Village, you can find the entrance shown above and on the map once you get it.
