There are several camera modes that you can play with or build for The Sims 4. The free camera mode is one of the most interesting, as it gives you a free, full screen view of your surroundings. Due to the full screen mode, getting out of it seems intimidating. However, all it takes is one click of a key.
How do you get out of free camera mode in The Sims 4?
Getting into Free Camera mode while playing The Sims 4 is very easy. All you have to do is click on the camera icon on the top leftthen choose the option that says free camera. This will put you in free camera mode. Exiting the mode may seem overwhelming at first, but it’s actually very simple. All you need to do is press the Eyelash either Esc keys.

Free Camera mode in The Sims 4 is a camera setting added to the game in July 2023. It allows players more extensively control how the camera is oriented. This is especially useful for seeing hard-to-reach places while building or playing. The mode can be difficult to use at first, but I picked it up pretty quickly with some practice.
