How to unlock all free items in Mission: Mars
The following list details all of the free items that were ever available within Mission: Mars and how to obtain them. Please continue reading beyond this list to learn more.
Welcome engineer!
This is the easiest Mission: Mars item to obtain, as all you need to do to unlock it is simply join the experience. As soon as you show up, you should automatically be welcomed, engineer! badge and item.
manifested mission
After closing the tutorial menu, you will automatically be assigned a mission and it will appear in the top right corner of your screen. To unlock the Manifested Mission badge and item, we must first leave our current mission by pressing the button Go out and then select a new one by interacting with the quest board.
The order in which you complete the missions does not matter, so you can choose the one you want to do first. We chose the Ramp Rescue mission, but that doesn’t mean you have to!
As soon as you select and confirm the mission, you need to unlock the Manifested Mission badge and item.

Airlock Adventurer
Now that you’ve chosen your mission, it’s time to venture out of the station! Move away from the quest board and look for the big air locks sign shown below. Walking through the doors below this sign will take you to the Airlock Distribution Center.
Enter one of these airlocks and press me to exit the station and travel to your mission destination. You’ll also earn the Airlock Adventurer badge and item in the process.
time for engineer
Once you have reached the mission base, look for the crafting editor shown below and interact with it.
Opening the crafting menu will unlock the Time to Engineer item and badge.
ramp runner
When you are ready to begin your mission, select the To deploy crafting menu button to exit the base. Once out of the base, get into your rover and head down the path in front of you. To earn the Ramp Runner badge and item, you can either complete the mission objective as intended or just drive until you run out of battery/oxygen; either will mark the mission as complete.
If you choose to complete the mission, continue driving forward until you find the ramps shown below.
Using your rover’s boost and jump functions, launch yourself down any of these ramps to cross the ravine and land on the other side. As soon as you do, you will complete the mission and receive your score.

Ice work!
Similar to the Ramp Runner mission, the Ice Job! The mission can be finished by completing the objective or by driving your rover until it runs out of battery/oxygen. To start this mission, follow the steps above to select it on the mission board, travel to the base using the Airlock, and then deploy your rover. If you choose to complete the objective, get into your rover and move forward until you see the small yellow-green base shown below.
Approach this base and keep an eye out for the large crates in front of it. To complete the mission, get out of your rover, walk up to one of these boxes, and press me. Doing so will deposit your ice sample and unlock the ice job! badge and item.
instrument researcher
To complete this mission, like the first two, players can either take over the objective or drive until they run out of oxygen or gas. If you want to complete the objective, you will first need to edit your rover, adding the camera Creation Editor team.
With your camera equipped, deploy your rover and follow the snowy trail towards the green streak in the sky.
As you get closer to the location of the lightning bolt, you can take a photo by pressing me. Once you’ve taken the picture, you’ll unlock the Instrument Researcher badge and item.
