Modern Warfare 3’s weekly challenges can be strangely difficult despite not looking like it. Getting 20 double kills from operators with sniper rifles doesn’t seem that difficult due to their high damage profiles, but you’d be surprised how problematic it can be without the right equipment.
How to Complete the 20 Double Operator Kills Challenge with Marksman Rifle in MW3 Season 3
To get started, you want to use the KVD Executor for this challenge since it is a high-powered semi-automatic rifle. This combination is ideal for this challenge because you must get kills very quickly to complete it. For the sake of clarity, double operator kills are two kills against players in one or two seconds. Despite the implication, you don’t need to kill two players at the same time.
For your build, add attachments that prioritize ADVERTISEMENTS and run to shoot speed. Unlike sniper rifles, sniper rifles typically come with excellent ADS and Sprint to Fire speeds out of the box, so attachments focused on these two stats further boost your natural playstyle.
As with other multi-kill challenges in Modern Warfare 3, you’ll want to play on maps and game modes that encourage players to group up, so you can quickly score consecutive kills. The ideal is to choose to play small maps as Hiding, shipping, meat, and Home. All of these maps have three single lanes where players naturally group together due to limited space.
Additionally, you’ll want to play on Objective game modes as Domination and difficult point. In these modes, there is always at least one centralized location on the map that will appeal to all players. Naturally, this leads to situations where players rush towards points, allowing you to quickly take them out with your KVD.
Speaking of which, do you want aim headshots while using the KVD for this challenge. This should come as no surprise, as typical play with Marksmen Rifles focuses on targeting the upper torso and head for the most efficient and consistent kills. Find yourself a secluded corner on any of the maps mentioned above and camp out until you’ve completed the challenge.
