During the last update, some PC users noticed an issue with the Larian Launcher going blank, preventing them from playing BG3. If you’ve encountered this common problem, there are three solutions that seem to be working.
The Larian Launcher for Baldur’s Gate 3 is blank
After patch number three for BG3 was released on October 13, 2023, Steam users saw the launcher appear as a blank page. It seems that the problem is more common on PC, but Mac users have also had this problem. Here are three solutions that should fix this problem.

Change language settings for BG3
This is a super strange solution that didn’t work for me, but seemed to work for other Reddit users. Head to the Launcher and click on the settings menu, which should still be there despite being blank. Change the language setting to anything other than the chosen language, then press the Save settings button. After that, go back to the menu, change the language settings to the desired language and press the Save Settings button.
Reset Larian launcher
Inside the settings again in Larian Launcher, there is a Reset launcher button. Press, hit Save settingsthen reopen the launcher to see if this has been fixed.
Get rid of the BG3 Launcher completely
For anyone still having a problem with Baldur’s Gate 3’s Larian launcher, there is a way to prevent it from appearing. Click on the gear logo to the right of the BG3 screen. The game management menu will appear. In the box called Startup Options, type: –jump-launcher then save the settings. This will force the game to start without opening the launcher at all.
