The next step is to make the Animal Treat. For this, you will need the following materials:

    • 5x vines: Break any plants in your surroundings to get vines.
    • 3x corn: Pluck corn from corn plants naturally growing near your base.

Take all these ingredients to a grill and process them into an Animal Treat. Produce three to five Animal Treats and store them in your inventory. Now, look for tamable animals like sheep, pigs, and chickens near your base or anywhere on the map. Equip the Animal Treat in your hand by placing it in your inventory and clicking the button associated with it in inventory.

When you are near any animal, a new option called consume will be available instead of the default pet. After feeding, the animal will be super happy, with a green heart symbol flashing around it. Now, the animal will start following you. Return to your base and click on the Barn house to find the name of the animal following you. Click on the Assign option to make that animal live in your barn and become part of your farm.

Properly refill feed in your barn to continuously produce resources. This is a much better approach to getting resources than randomly taming any available pets near your vicinity.
