Sonys latest PlayStation5 exclusive is currently the best-selling video game in the UK – and its likely will stay that way for a while.
It’s strange and interesting to find that there isn’t much movement in the first sales chart of the year, especially when it comes to the first ever major game, and it’s not FIFA 23 that the exclusive gaming console – the god of War and the last two weeks – have been the number one choice.
The first release of the year will be the anime tie-in One Piece Odyssey this Friday, followed by Fire Emblem Engage and the non-Switch versions of Monster Hunter Rise the week after.
This time of the year is not as busy as 2022, but so many titles were delayed from their Christmas present, but still busier than usual, with the likes Forspoken and Dead Space in late January and Hogwarts Legacy in February and PlayStation VR2 in February.
