    When it comes to vampires, we’ve become so used to social creatures that it can be hard to imagine a world where they’re just solitary creatures. But in the ’80s and ’90s, that changed, and one of the drivers of a new wave of brooding clubs filled with the orthodontically challenged was a tabletop RPG called Vampire: The Masquerade.

    And now, you can jump into the dark, gothic, sociable world of VTM with Vampire The Masquerade – Coteries of New York as this narrative thriller puts you in the shoes of one of the many vampires living under the noses of ordinary humans. I put

    Set in a world where multiple vampire clans fight for influence, all while maintaining a code of secrecy known as the ‘Masquerade’, VTM is a franchise with equal pedigree in media and gaming.

    You get to choose a playable character from the universe’s three clans: the noble Ventro, the artistic Toréador, or the rebellious Brujah, and meet a large cast of characters as you explore New York’s hidden underworld.

    We’re excited to see another narrative game on mobile, though we still insist on calling them visual novels because we don’t see that as a dirty word. Like the recently released Neuronet: Mendax Proxy, this game has all the hallmarks of an exciting universe to explore.
