GeForce Now: Nvidia wants to bring its cloud gaming service to cars

    At the CES 2023, Nvidia announced that the cloud-based gaming service GeForce Now will also be available in some cars. Hyundai Motor Group, BYD, and Polestar are the first manufacturers to integrate this.

    GeForce Nows platform will be integrated into vehicle systems to allow passengers to access their game libraries.

    A faster processing speed, artificial intelligence and connectivity bring new levels of automation, safety, convenience and enjoyment to the automotive world, said Ali Kani, vice president Automotive of Nvidia, which sees in video games the possibility of extending services to the buyer.

    Not to mention that all three companies already collaborated with Nvidia and used the Nvidia Drive system, available for the Hyundai, Kia and Genesis line. GeForce Now will be available on some models. For example, Polandstar will let electric vehicles play into its platform; BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles, is developing electric vehicles that include GeForce Now.

    Marcio Aguiar, the Nvidias sales director for Latin America, said The union of auto and video game technologies is very promising. GeForce Now shows how to bring a high-quality entertainment to places where it was never possible.
