Final Fantasy XIV’s Heavensturn event rings in the new year starting December 31

    Mark your calendars, because there’s one last event in Final Fantasy XIV for 2022, as Heavensturn takes over the game on December 31. Until Monday, January 16, 2023 at 6:59 a.m. Traditions and festivities run, giving you the chance to unlock new glam items and amazing looking decorations.

    Announced in the official Final Fantasy XIV Twitter Following Live Letter on December 23, this Heavensturn will ring in the new year, giving you a stylish new glam to embark on your Patch 6.3 adventures, which will go live on January 10, 2023. The event kicks off in Limsa Lominsa, with the quest that requires you to be level 15. Talk to Usagi Bugyo in X: 11.5, Y: 13.9 to start the search.

    Upon completing the quest, you will receive a Heavensturn armor set, which includes a chest, leg, hand, and foot piece. You will also receive the Heavensturn Crane Hanging Banner for your home or apartment. As always, Seasonal Quests cannot be completed once the event has concluded, and certain items available during previous iterations of the event can be obtained through the Seasonal Store.

    Final Fantasy XIV always has a full schedule of events to keep you going all year long, and it’s nice that even at the end of 2022 fans have something to send them into the new year. And there’s a lot to look forward to in FFXIV: Endwalker in 2023, as our patch and event guide shows!
