Weapon recycling is a common practice in Destiny 2. While some weapons may not be copies of one another, they are similar enough that you know what you’re getting into. How to get Long Engagement in Destiny 2
Extended Engagement is a random drop that can be acquired by completing Vanguard Ops playlist activities and claiming Commander Zavala rank packs in the Tower. Due to its nature of being a random drop, it may take some time before it drops.
