The recent New Years Greetings post from the Final Fantasy team reveals a huge announcement is still in the works & it isn’t related to Final Fantasy 7. The tease is made up of Yoshinori Kitase, producer of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, which is slated to run into the FF7 remake trilogy.
As the second title in Final Fantasy 7 remakes, that title will soon release, with a game coming after, leaving the other one to complete the series. Kitase clearly explained that the announcement isn’t related to FF7.
There’s also a large announcement out of FF7 that I could not tell anything about just yet. Don’t be fooled to work hard to make sure 2023 is the most exciting year ever.
We don’t know what the announcement is about, nor did we know better about it. For now, Kitase seems busy with the FF7 remakes, so just have to wait for future updates.
The post also features music from the producers at Square Enix. Among them was one from Niko Yoshida, also known as Yoshi-Pa. He says they’re putting their finishing touches to Final Fantasy 16.
