Amidst concerns about how safe your kids are online, EA and football pundit Jermaine Jenas have teamed up to promote parental controls on video game devices.
EA has launched a brand-new digital campaign, hoping to educate parents on enabling parental controls while their children are off this summer. The publisher is known for massive franchises like EA Sports FC, The Sims, and Apex Legends, with its games appealing to players of all ages.

Jermaine Jenas is fronting the campaign, with his impressive CV boasting television presenter, football pundit, and former professional footballer – as well as being a father of four.
In the video, Jenas highlights the importance of limiting screen time, as well as managing unwanted in-game purchases, who children are speaking to online, and general age-appropriate content.
Promoting the campaign, Jenas said, “I love playing video games as a way of spending time with my kids so by partnering with Electronic Arts on this campaign, I hope we can help spread awareness of the parental controls that are in place on devices.

EA’s campaign is well-timed for the recent launch of Ukie’s PowerUpPact initiative. The video games trade association aims to aid families in having sometimes difficult conversations about how to game responsibly during the summer holidays.
