The publisher of Dungeons & Dragons Wizards of the Coast has cancelled a number of upcoming video games in order to save money on the industry. At least five games were axed, an inside project called Jabberwocky and two other external games.

The Magic of the Seas subsidiary in Hasbro has the intellectual property of the Dungeons, and Dragons since 1997, and subsequently created and published Magic: The Gathering. The company began a series of sales in recent years, and helped develop its own studios, with mixed results as did the 2021 Dungeons & Dark Alliance title. Since it became bitter with Hasbro because of the financial difficulties of his company, it decided to finish some video game projects on certain independent studios, including The Otherside Entertainment and Hidden Path Entertainment.

After three years, Wizards of the Coast has removed more than a fifth of its employees who use these titles, with the option of applying for different roles within the company. The future of the AAA title, A-Dane, will not be announced in this time.

All those disappointed fans looking forward to the expansion of the upcoming game Baldurs Gate, which will launch in August, are delighted to find the best way to play the game.
