Combat can be a bit difficult to tackle in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, but Master Art combos are among the best tools players can use to make the game easier. In a game with multiple classes, each with various arts to master, it’s remarkable to see how well some of these skills work together. Getting these skills doesn’t require much investment either, just important to remember that characters can only learn arts from the opposing faction’s classes (Agnus or Keves).

What master arts are best to combine in Xenoblade Chronicles 3?

    Cross impact and hidden thorn

This combination works in the same way that Garchomp could use Swords Dance and Earthquake on Pokemon. Cross Impact provides a huge power buff, which means there are plenty of offensive abilities that could take advantage of it. Hidden Thorn is a good candidate for this thanks to its massive damage output.

    Wide Cut Sparkle Ring

These two arts are why it’s always worth leveling up Zephyr in any game. Wide Slash can heal the user while he attacks. Glow Ring is great for targeting an enemy and blocking them. This basically takes them out of the fight in a Xenoblade version of crowd control, and the healing from Wide Slash will keep the user healthy.

    Halo and Resonant Flag

It can seem a bit intimidating to use Aureole since the buff it provides is random. However, when combined with the Resonant Flag, the implications of this art can be huge. Resonant Flag shares the buff the user gains with the rest of the squad, making everyone tankier, stronger, etc.

    Glitter jet and air cut

Raider is a really fun class to play, especially with these two abilities. Aerial Slash provides invincible frames for a long time with a juicy critical hit buff. So it’s only natural that it should be paired with an ability that provides a break like Glitter Stream.
