Diablo IV: The Pot of Hatred Expansion Brings Players to a Lush Jungle Biome Later Next Year

    Blizzard Entertainment has revealed that the first expansion for Diablo IV is called Vessel of Hitred, and it will hit the game late next year. The Diablo team revealed the news during BlizzCon 2023 over the weekend, where we learned about three new World of Warcraft expansions and three new Overwatch 2 heroes coming to the game.

    During BlizzCon 2023, Blizzard kept details on Vessel of Hatred light, saying it would share more details next summer. As expected, it features a campaign that continues the dark story that began in Diablo IV. “Vessel of Hate brings players back to learn the fate of the greatest demon Mephisto and his diabolical plans for the Sanctuary,” a press release reads. “Journey to the Green Forests Known to the Natives as Nahantu.”

    Blizzard says Vessel of Hate will have players traversing an exotic new region, defeating new evils, and perhaps most excitingly, killing demons and looting chests with an entirely new class. will allow to explore methods “never seen before in the Diablo universe.”

    And this is all Blizzard has shared about the Pot of Hate. Diablo IV’s first expansion is scheduled for late 2024.
