Diablo Immortal’s newest class, the The Tempest, due out on May 23. To mark this, Blizzard has released a brand new cinematic trailer to show off this double-wielding swashbuckler. Tempest will be the eighth class to join the hit and controversial, game’s roster. With a nautical flavor, you can watch the cinematic trailer below to see what kind of sound The Tempest brings!
And while we’re not privy to a full breakdown of Tempest’s abilities, we can see some glimpses in the gameplay portion of the cinematic trailer. Riding a wave seems to be a new movement option while a massive circular attack does massive splash damage (pun intended.) The Tempest seems to focus on the particular nautical, swashbuckler vibes of its nautical inspiration.
So, we can probably expect faster combat and a more damage oriented character, but possibly a bit of a glass cannon. Let’s wait and see when The Tempest drops on May 23.

The only thing that fans may find a little disappointing with the Tempest is the design. It owes a little more to sneaky rogues than to Errol Flynn, and it’s a little less iconic of a design than the likes of Savage or Cleric. Still, we can’t deny that they look fun to play, and a lot of fun for those looking to live out their dual-powered fantasy of hack-n-slash action on the high seas.
