Solo Leveling: ARISE features a stat-based upgrade system unique to the main character, Sung Jinwoo. Like the manhwa, Jinwoo gains five stat points for every level he levels up, which you can assign to any of your preferred stats.

Stat assignment is a mechanic exclusive to Sung Jinwoo, so you won’t have to worry about any other character in the game. You will receive five stat points each time you level up and can be distributed among the following stats:

In the early game, you won’t have powerful weapons or artifacts to make up for Jinwoo’s stats, so it’s best to just aim for a decent amount of Accuracy and then dump the rest of the stats into Strength. I didn’t find it useful to aim for agility, as it didn’t make a huge difference in the early game, where your main goal is to speed up the main story to unlock as much content as possible.

As you progress and collect weapons and artifacts, your goal should be accuracy limit and critical hit rate before dumping most of Jinwoo’s stats into Strength. This is because attack is very easy to obtain with weapons and artifacts, so the Strength stat won’t make a noticeable difference to your overall numbers. Once you get comfortable with Jinwoo’s damage output, you can start adding some Intelligence mainly to reduce the cooldown.

How Accuracy Works in Solo Leveling ARISE
Accuracy increases each time you increase Jinwoo’s Perception stat. On paper, it increases the minimum damage dealt against enemies, thus allowing Jinwoo to deal damage closer to the upper end of your minimum damage range. For example, if Jinwoo’s minimum damage range is between 1000 and 2000, higher accuracy will allow him to deal closer to 2000 with each hit. However, it does not affect his maximum damage, which is affected by the number of critical hits he can perform, which is why the Agility stat is also so important.
How to assign Jinwoo’s stats in Solo Leveling ARISE
At the beginning of the game, add your stats immediately to get a quick power increase. Remember that you can reset your stats at any time for Gold. Once you start maxing out your weapons and looking for artifacts with good secondary stats, equip all your equipment before resetting Jinwoo’s statsthen assign based on what your team is missing. Doing so will prevent you from going beyond the maximum possible values ​​for certain stats (i.e. 99% Perception, 50% Critical Hit Rate), which will be a waste.
