Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be featured in Xbox’s Summer Showcase.

    When Xbox revealed the date for its Summer Showcase, it included a mysterious teaser. Immediately following the presentation, there will be a second livestream to highlight an upcoming game in the “Beloved” series. Today, the theme of that showcase has been revealed, and to no one’s surprise, it’s a new Call of Duty game.

    Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a title that may confuse some, as there technically isn’t a game titled Black Ops 5. This is because Black Ops Cold was the fifth entry in the sub-series starting in 2021. Jung, temporarily removing the numbered naming convention. The news was this. Announced on social mediabut was accompanied by a teaser on YouTube that hinted at the events of the game’s campaign.

    The 40-second clip follows a group of people who hide at the top of Mount Rushmore, where they blindfold presidents built into the mountainside. The first three blindfolds read, “Truth is a lie,” while the fourth features the three-headed wolf logo used in the game’s early edited teaser.

    The game will be revealed in full during a presentation on Saturday, June 9, right after the Xbox Showcase, which starts at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET. Microsoft is reportedly debating whether or not to launch the game on Game Pass.
