Ash of Gods: Redemption has opened pre-registration for Android on Google Play. A story-driven RPG with tough choices and intense combat set in a medieval fantasy world, it first launched exclusively for PC and consoles, before coming to Android back in 2018. A switch was attempted. However, we don’t have news of an iOS release yet, but watch this space.
Offering a series of moral dilemmas to resolve or at least make choices in, Ash of Gods isn’t just story and action, but offers challenging turn-based combat. Set in the world of Terminum, you play as three different heroes fighting to stop a fictitious evil. One of the key selling points is the roguelike aspect. Your hero may die, but the game will continue without them, yet their death drastically changes the story.

And yes, let’s get this out of the way. Handmade art? Animated sprites? Tough moral decisions? This game has a small part of the Banner Saga about it.
