Apex Legends ‘connection attempt failed’ – How to fix it

Apex Legends updates tend to cause server issues due to the number of players trying to connect or any other issues that may arise in online gaming. While connecting to an Apex Legends game, you may encounter an “attempting to connect” error message and be unable to enter a game. Here’s how to fix the connection error.

Players can connect to servers, but cannot join a game during matchmaking. You may get “attempt to connect” on pairing and get stuck on the screen for a long time. If you receive the error message during pairing, it may be due to problems with the server or your connection. This is what you can do to fix the error.

    • Check Apex Legends Server Status
    • Restart Apex Legends
    • Disable NAT option on router
    • Use a VPN

To check the status of the Apex Legends server, you can check fall detector. If there are any issues, DownDectector will display outage reports and the most reported issues.
