Traits make up the bread and butter of your character in Remnant 2. With only 60 total Trait points available, you’ll need to make informed decisions as to where to place them. Part of doing that is knowing exactly what Traits are on offer to you, even if you don’t have them yourself just yet. So, here’s every Trait in Remnant 2, and how you can get them.

Every Trait in Remnant 2 and how to get them
Traits function, effectively, as skill points, and where you place them in your build can make all the difference. First, I’ll begin with the traits you have access to just by creating a character:
- Vigor – Boosts your Max Health
- Endurance – Boosts your Max Stamina
- Expertise – Reduces Skill Cooldowns
- Spirit – Boosts Mod Power Generation
These are bread-and-butter traits and, for most builds, should be invested to some degree. Personally, I recommend maxing out Vigor and Spirit. This next set of traits is obtainable by maxing out or playing as a specific Archetype:

| Longshot | Hunter | Boosts Weapon Range Bonus |
| Flash Caster | Archon | Boosts Mod and Skill Cast Speed |
| Strong Back | Challenger | Reduces Encumbrance |
| Regrowth | Summoner | Boosts Health Regen |
Maxing out an Archetype will reward you with the ability to spend Trait points toward the Archetype’s trait, with any other Archetype selected. Due to this, it is recommended you level up the Archetypes that reward you with the trait you’re looking to build into.

This final set of Traits comes from various sources throughout Remnant 2, including bosses, puzzles, and exploration:

| Bloodstream | Boosts Grey Health Regen | Pick the Ravager’s Eye when talking to Meidra, located on Yaesha |
| Footwork | Boosts Move Speed while Aiming | Complete the Train Encounter located within Terminus Station on N’Erud |
| Blood Bond | Archetype Summons soak Damage Taken from Caster | Destroy the Root Nexus within The Forbidden Grove on Yaesha |
| Handling | Reduces Weapon Spread and Recoil | Clear the first Horde Event that occurs while within Root Earth |
| Revivalist | Boosts Speed of being Revived and Reviving | Revive teammates 10 times (Bugged Currently) |
| Rugged | Boosts Archetype Summon Max Health | Free the Imprisoned NPC within the Forgotten Field on Yaesha |
| Recovery | Boosts Stamina Regen | Return Dran children to the Oracle of the Dran, located on Losomn. |

| Siphoner | Boosts Lifesteal | Located within the Drmant N’erudian Facility on N’Erud |
