    In Mortal Kombat 1, cameo fighters are set to change the face of the battle system. If you’re a fighting game fan, think of Cameo Fighters in a similar way to how Marvel vs. Capcom games work.

    The cameo fighters in Mortal Kombat 1 are new. Partner-based assist mechanic Which will likely speed up the battles in the game. gave Official Q&A Says they give “expanded gameplay possibilities for players”. However, they will not be playable. “These characters are selected separately from the main roster of fighters,” says publisher WB Games.

    These cameo fighters in Mortal Kombat 1 act like supporting characters in Marvel vs. Capcom and Dragon Ball FighterZ. In the past, this type of mechanic enhanced combos or gave you defensive support – projectiles could even be thrown!

    However, most fighting games don’t strictly provide support characters, so it will be interesting to see how important this mechanic will be.

    Scorpion and Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat

    With the cameo fighters serving as auxiliaries to the main crew, they will likely be characters that are low on the totem pole overall. So far, only a few have been announced so far:

    • Jacques Briggs
    • Kano
    • King Lao
    • Sector
    • the scorpion
    • Sonya Blade
    • Striker
    • Sub zero

    It was also confirmed that players can use Standard fighters as cameo fighters too

    We do know that some cameo fighters will be available through DLC. The first Kombat Pack has now been announced and will allow players to use Omni-Man, Homelander, Peacemaker, Ermac, Quantum Chi and Takeda. So they should be added later as cameo fighters.
