Netflix has just acquired the cult classic action movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
The series “Scott Pilgrim vs. World”, written by Edward Scott, stars Michael Cera as the titular character, a musician who must fight the seven exes of her new girlfriend Ramona Flowers, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The film also features some notable celebrities including Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick, Chris Evans, Brie Larson and Aubrey Plaza.
With respect to the series of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World being loved by many fans and critics, the film did not achieve its goal at the box office, with the film coming in at $446 million, which means it never came close to breaking even when it came to the box office. The fanbase of Scott Pilgrim vs. the world is strong, and with the release of it on Netflix, it could quite possibly get bigger, as well as the opportunity for people to watch it first.
Scott Pilgrim and the World are now streaming on Netflix. For those interested, there are even a video game adaptation that is based on the graphic novel series. On a more recent note, Netflix has announced it is developing a series based on the brand, an anime series. However, Netflix wanted to develop the cult classic movie.
