The YouTube service is testing the Queuing system in iOS and Android applications. This feature has been available in the web version of the service for many years, and now works on mobile devices.

After the queuing feature is activated, users have access to a new Play last in queue button. It’s possible to ask the video thumbnail in the menu. The video will be added to the end of the playback queue after clicking on the button. If the user does not watch the video for this moment, a new queue is created. The application will start playing the next video in the waiting room and continue playing until the waiting queue ends. The user can change the number of videos in the queue or delete them. When you close your player or you leave the application, the playback queue will be erased. A notification is presented in the application.

Now, the Play Queue feature is available to YouTube Premium subscribers. When the application begins, it will appear in the window, in which they’re notified. If the notification doesn’t appear, Premium subscribers can activate the feature manually by clicking on the profile picture in the upper right corner and selecting the settings menu. Here, in the new features section, you have to go to the Queue option and hit the Addion button. The testing will last until January 28th.
