A brand new platformer has just been hatched on the App Store. Yolky Unbound offers physics-based platforming action. You play as an egg yolk tasked by the Egg King to secure a way for the eggs to be reunited with their beloved mother. It’s not the job you wanted but hey, at least one of your SHIELD brothers reminds you to bring your Bossa Nova mixtape.
As you play, you’ll collect fruits and the occasional artifact. You will also need to use the objects in your environment to your advantage. For example, what happens when you push a block of ice into an enemy? There is only one way to find out.
The game features four chapters with a total of 60 progressively challenging levels for you to complete, each hand-crafted. You will avoid obstacles and enemies, break brick blocks and cross each level in the best possible way. You cannot directly attack your enemies so you will need to create. Just don’t let them touch you unless you want to sunbathe.
The story of Yulki and his companions promises to be a heartwarming one and is told through seven beautiful scenes. Listening to Yolky’s bossa nova mixtape keeps you calm as you speed through dangerous levels.
This new platformer features simple, intuitive controls. Use the left and right arrow keys to move back and forth and the up arrow key to jump. You can interact with objects by bumping into them or in some cases jumping on them. Throughout the many levels of this platformer you will find 16 characters who need your help. To help them you need to unban them.
