A new version of Windows 11 could introduce a new file Explorer. It is going to work much faster and easily separates itself from the whole system.
After the Task Manager closed, the Desktop will disappear instantly and all its settings and shortcuts will be wiped. Besides the desktop, Explorer, which is quite tightly integrated into Windows, will stop working.
Currently, test versions of Windows 11 have a separate utility called ShellAppRuntime.exe. He is the one who has all the job, has worked on the taskbar and other items, who is a pious man, doesn’t affect the Explorer and explorer.exe in any way as a consequence of a disconnect.
All this is possible only for Windows Insider. The actual date for the release of the public version remains a mystery.
