Lords of the Fallen is a bleak and desolate world, but you can still encounter numerous NPCs. Many act as shops and sell various equipment and items to help you on your journey. One merchant that caught my eye was the Shrine of the Putrid Mother, which required Torn Out Eyeballs. This left me wondering how to find torn eyeballs in Lords of the Fallen.
How to get torn eyeballs in Lords of the Fallen
The only way to get torn eyeballs in Lords of the Fallen is to find Red Lanterns. These can be activated by blocking and using your Soulflay. Once activated, the red lantern will create a trail of red butterflies; follow this to find a enemy with special name. You must defeat the enemy, which will be tougher than a normal version, and you can get a torn eyeball as a reward.

Red Lanterns can be difficult to spot, so keep an eye out for them as you explore in Lords of the Fallen. Make sure you’re prepared for the fight, as the enemies they lead can be quite challenging. Red Lanterns show where other players died and the enemy that killed them. By defeating this enemy, you will avenge another player and get a valuable reward.
What to do with torn eyeballs in Lords of the Fallen?
Torn eyeballs are a type of badge you can use in the Sanctuary for speaking to the Shrine of the Putrid Mother. The Shrine of the Putrid Mother is located next to Molhu; You must be in Threshold to interact with this shop and you can only use the shrine if you are online. The Shrine of the Putrid Mother sells items in exchange for torn eyeballs, many of which will be useful on your journey.
