COD: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward that is accessible on Xbox, PlayStation, and Windows.
This game received huge praise for its game’s gameplay, story and graphics, and it was considered to be one of the greatest ever games of all time.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare players reported (1,2,3,4,5) that the weekly stars system in the Special Ops co-op mode hasn’t been resetting over the past few weeks.
I haven’t been credited for the past 3 weeks by stars for me in coop. The game continues to say that I reached my limit of s for the week. After my first game, a week later. I use 3G. What else has this problem? Source

The weekly stars system tracks progress in the co-op mode by allowing players to earn up to three stars per mission per week completing missions.
The missions have the same effect as the game by finishing under certain time limits and at least preventing a certain number of bombs from being planted.
That stars can be spent on in-game items such as calling cards, emblems and weapons blueprints.
A problem with weekly stars not resetting has resulted in players being unable to progress in their kittiers.

That problem has been widely reported on forums and social media while they seek a solution.
A good number have also reported that the problem is ongoing several weeks, but there’s not enough resolution.
I noticed that since the raid started, all spec ops/coop map hasn’t reset the earnable stars that I can get for completion. They have been stuck for three weeks, so I can’t progress towards the level of class. Is this a known bug or is this just happening to me?
What is causing this issue at COD: Modern Warfare two weekly stars won’t resetting, nor will it be resolved with the developers not acknowledged it yet.
