If the rumors are true, Aisen Shikai’s moves will be coming to Type Soul this weekend! Something is brewing behind the scenes, as it seems that the developers are preparing a new character.
The rumors started a couple of days ago when NuovaPrimed, one of the developers of Type Soul, posted on Discord that they were trying to complete work on the new Shikai for the next update. Many players thought of Sosuke Aizen from Bleach, hoping to have the opportunity to use his powerful abilities. Shortly after the developer’s announcement, the streamer nanoprodigy showed off Aizen Shikai’s leaked moves on his live stream.
The leak showed two movements. First, a purple outline around the player activates when they are hit, causing them to teleport behind the attacker. This ability appears to function as a counter.
The second ability involves summoning a clone of a player that attacks the opponent. It’s interesting that the clone is difficult to kill; Even after multiple hits, the duplicate continued to attack.
We must admit that, at first glance, those abilities seem too strong. This was perhaps an early development video, as it would be very difficult to defeat an enemy that creates a clone that can use essences and weapons. As with all leaks, this may turn out to be just a testing phase, and in fact we get a severely weakened version, which may land at the bottom of the Type Soul Shikai tier list.
The community is divided over this, with some not even believing it’s Aizen Shikai in the first place. They believe that those movements are more similar to Shinji Hirako’s. While the jury is still out, we all hope that the mystery will be solved in the coming days with the new Type Soul update.
