Developed by Ubisoft, Rainbow Six Siege is a multiplayer tactical shooter video game that can be played on major gaming platforms like Windows, Xbox and PlayStation.

The players often praise the game for the experience it provides, and it gets updated regularly, making it easier for the players to witness increased gaming escapades.

Although it isn’t uncommon for game platforms to have a problem with the latest update, it’s not uncommon for players to experience a bug or issue.

We’ve recently highlighted a problem related to code 8-0x00003700 and players wasting time creating a squad.

Rainbow Six Siege’s reputation system was broken.

The new Rainbow Six Siege reputation system was released in December, and has now come under fire from players who claim it broke or forced them to let off live chat in the game.

The system was designed to help stop toxicity and hate speech in games chat. However, reports suggest a certain number of players gotten lower rankings.

According to some reports, not only did they receive a warning, but they also received a warning for sending innocent messages like “Cob” or “OK”.

Reputation System does not work. I flipped messages with the news, and I was talking about how to respond as if it was on the phone. I decided a few games ago after I received the FINAL WARNING prompt that I wouldn’t use text chat if I missed the penalty. Source

The new reputation system will force me to turn off the phone. I didn’t ever do anything but be nice; I dropped 2 reps down and it is now my first time receiving this after a friend was toxic to me during the last match. Could somebody explain what you have done wrong? Source

Several players even disabling chat altogether in order to avoid the future of the new feature.

Another problem with the reputation system is that it is not possible to distinguish between intentional behavior and accidental communication.

Players can be punished simply because they resent the mistake of making an honest mistake.

Some were calling on Ubisoft to take a look at Dota 2 a popular online multiplayer game with a system where players can compare each other after a match.

A simple solution is to give the player a Commend button, like how you can tell players that on a match, Dota 2 gets better, but it also gives their reputation a better score. Source

This system seems to explain the fact that a player is being considered and can judge that player’s behavior as a result of a very good judgment.

It looks like the Rainbow Six Siege reputation system is causing more problems than fixing them.

Until Ubisoft addresses the questions and gives more context regarding why certain actions are deemed trespassing, the reputation system is likely to continue to be a source of frustration for the players.

To keep this in mind, we hope that Ubisoft readily provides them with an ardent solution to their problems so they can relive their experience.
